Panglao Island is a small island at the very south tip of Bohol in the Visayas
area of the Philippines. It is connected to Bohol by two road bridges and
is undoubtedly the most popular tourist destination in Bohol and its beaches
are the reason.
To get to Panglao you go via Tagbilaran in Bohol, there are flights from
Manila (45mintes) and Cebu (25 minutes) Php 800 to Php 2000 return, look for
promos and ferrys from Cebu pier one (2 hours) Php 800 to Php1200 all these
arrive in Tagbilaran. When you arrive either at the port or airport you will
be greeted by eager - sometimes over eager drivers wantng to take you to Panglao.
There are a couple of ways to get to Panglao, you can take any of the trikes that will be waiting for you, fare should be Php300 per trip (1 to 3 people) there are some white metered taxis (Php 350 to 450), you can also rent a bike for your stay and ride yourself (Php 350 to Php 500 per day).
