Reviews of Indy Village in Maputo Mozambique

I only stayed over for 1 night, and it was terrible, They had a disgusting gym, the food was awful, full of oil and it just tasted nasty. The staff was unpleasant and grumpy, had no manners at all. Nothing was clean! Not the gym, the spa or the pool and the bathrooms needed new towels. It was overpriced for the quality that has been given, this was unacceptable.

There is a lack of good places to stay at in Maputo. Indy Village is overpriced and didn’t offer what we expect for that amount of money. It isn’t like a hotel, it’s just individual rooms all over the place, with a garden and there is also a gym, a swimming pool, restaurant and cafeteria, there is also a jungle gym for the kids. It isn’t really ideal for city center. The rooms are a bit small, but there is a lot of space outside. It would be nice if there were desks in the room, some people would like to work inside the rooms. I also know that there are self catering chalets if you didn’t want to use the restaurant. The staff didn’t seem to be happy to help you, they seem hasty to finish their order.
