Not the business hotel …
|
I had to stay here for business for quite some time.
I’ve been to Mozambique plenty of times, and for the state
that Maputo is in and for the value of money, this place isn’t
too bad. Some of the rooms are nice and big, but then again not
all rooms are the same. Sometimes depending on the room you have
you can get quite annoyed by some irritating issues. The rooms are
okay if you aren’t too fussy and do not have any work to do,
for business I wouldn’t recommend it. It has a nice location,
and the internet is actually good. The vibe of the area is pleasant.
The management is not to great, I had been switched rooms two times
since my arrival. The first one they shoved me in was si tiny and
next to a water pump that was so loud that I couldn’t even
sleep at night, and they didn’t even say sorry for me having
to spend the night in that awful room. The owner wasn’t involved
in the place, he hardly made contact. The lighting in all the rooms
aren’t really good, and it lacks the quality for business
people, as it is hard to be working on your laptop or with papers.

Attractive and reliable guest
house. |
This was my second option as my first option had
been booked fully. I like the way it looks, with the nice garden
outside and a place for you to sit. The room I was in was nice,
big and airy as well as my bathroom. The only thing I didn’t
like about my room was the very tiny window that didn’t even
open, and then even smaller windows, 2 of them next the door that
did open at least, but also didn’t have anything to cover
it at night when the corridor light came streaming in to the room.
When sitting at breakfast there were some clear views into the bathrooms
of some rooms, and had a view of one guy in the shower, not nice
at breakfast. The staff was nice, and I would stay here again. |
