Reviews of Ulala Lodge in Pemba Mozambique

This Lodge is situated just outside of Pemba on a beautiful beach. This was the last lodge we visited in our trip to Mozambique, and we stayed for 3 days. The stilt bungalow was our accommodation for our stay here at Ulala lodge. We had a nice big and comfy bedroom with a clean bathroom. It has a terrace that’s quite big and styled nicely. The owners are great company and always willing to share interests with you. The breakfast was a bit disappointing, it was plain and simple French, toasts with jams and coffee, other accommodations breakfast had my attention more. The dinner wasn’t all that wow either, but it tasted great and was fresh!

We stayed here for a week in May. It is truly a great place with great hosts. They made sure we got what we wanted and made us feel welcomed. The pictures don’t come close to how beautiful it is here. Without thinking twice, I would recommend this lodge to anyone. It would be perfect for couples and to all the people who like being peaceful and like relaxing. There’s a variety of things for you to do, you can walk to the lake and just tip the guard that walks with you, snorkeling, there’s a lot of things in pemba to do if you are going to be there for a while…
