Reviews of Massinga Beach in Pomene Mozambique

I could not ask for a better place to spend my honeymoon at. My room was luxurious and out of this world, the service is beyond great and characterized cuisine. We also had a remarkable view from our own private plunge pool. Our experience at MBL will always be remembered and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. The week we were there felt like heaven, we had room service, wonderful hosts and the chefs that made the very tasty food! It never felt like the personnel at the lodge helped because they were obligated to, but ‘cause they really wanted to help and making us their 1st priority. This place really give a boost to your love life.

Our stay here was fantastic! The transport from the airport to the Lodge is not of the best, but it’s worth it once you get to the Lodge. The food during our entire stay was delicious. We stayed in the Family suite on top of the hill, and we didn’t really have a lot of privacy. Rather get the suites at the bottom, they have more privacy and splash pools and it still has a charm of its own. There are 2 bathrooms and a large en-suit shower place. The lodge operates with a generator at the moment so the electricity is limited at night, but they are making plan for electricity.

The best time for me was the beach, and the time we spent at the bar. I even tried out the freestyle kayaking, but the rough waves lead to a short time free styling. All the local people here are friendly and the coral stones on the beach are perfect for pictures. There are plenty of things to do, if arranged.
