Reviews of Phaphalati Hotel in Ponta do Ouro Mozambique

The hotel is 10km away from Ponta and they had said its IN Ponta. The Hotel is really gorgeous on the outside, the location was just not where we expected it to be. The housekeeper was very helpful all the time. I wish I could say the same for the restaurant. How can a hotel with this quality accommodation only serve a one meal course. There was no starters or desert what so ever. And I don’t even want to mention the breakfast option, well not that we had any!! And the waiter could be more lively. It was such a shame, ‘cause the area and the pool was so nice.

The beach is lovely and great to swim in, but there was something stange about the hotel. The porsonnel never seem to be happy or friendly, and they dont give us a choice of breakfast, only an omelette to eat, nothing else. They didn't even supply any toiletries, no towels, and we even had to make our own sheet for the matress they supplied, as we were 3 sharing, and didn't get an extra bed. Very unprofessional.
