Reviews of White Pearl in Ponta do Ouro Mozambique

This place is great for a honeymoon, or 5 star accommodation, the rooms are excellent!! But as a single me and my friend just did not fit in to this resort. Everywhere we looked was just couples, and there was absolutely no night life. the shower and the bath is in the open, with no privacy... it is not so nice when you have a friend travelling with you. The resort doesn't specialise in diving, but it is available once a day if the boat is on track, and they also do dolphin snorkelling.

There is not enough activities to keep you busy the entire day. This place is perfect if you want to just relax suntan and do nothing all day. If you are more into action and all then I do not recommend this place, it's beautiful and all that , but is just not cut out for every one. The meals weren't all that great, some good some bad... Even though we ordered the same thing, it still stayed slow, but I guess that's normal for Africa. The rooms were great!! clean and spacious! and you even got your own butler, got handed a cell phone if you wanted to phone him.

This is a very remote place, it was the last place we stopped at for our honeymoon. the 1 night was lovely, we got to unwind from the busy honeymoon. No issues with the place its a great place, nice location by the coast, Being from NY my husband and I didn't really like it, as we are use to getting just the best service and quality restaurants etc. We enjoyed our butler and our water, they delivered fantastic service, but the restaurant and food was just normal average. Our food that we got was over cooked and not spicy enough. There was a field mouse inside, it came running in hiding from the rain, it was so adorable, except for the fact that we were busy eating. While we were there, the coolant from the air con that broke, spilled all over my cloths and suitcase. We paid in advance, and was there over new years, they had a new years dinner and wanted us to pay more for it. We did not leave happy as we had already paid so much just to stay here. I don't think this is a nice place to stay in.

We were 4 girlfriend going away for pampering for my birthday, and oh boy did we enjoy this. We stayed here for 4 nights and loved it. We all got 2 Massages each in the comfort of our own rooms, and the rooms were always spotless without even seeing any staff come to clean it. The view was so beautiful, with endless beaches and clear oceans. We really liked our butler, he did everything perfect. The food was scrumptious beyond! This resort is perfect for friends and couples!!! its just phenomenal. Would go back in a wink of an eye.
