Reviews of Cinco Portas Ibo Island on Quirimbas Islands Mozambique

This place is on Ibo Island and is definitely recommended. Staying here for 5 days was a pleasure! The food, our room, the pool and a lovely garden was just amazing!! all of it!! Plus we also had amazing views of the sea. Our hot water wasn't working but they did give us a hot water bucket to go with the cold shower. The rooms are small and we have an open bathroom, and the atmosphere is nice and relaxing. Every one there is friendly, from the owner to the each staff member. We went on a dhow trip. there is a lot of things to de here, and i recommend that you stay for no less than 2 to 3 nights.

We stayed here as part of our honey moon and got the nice room, had our own balcony with bay views, and it was lovely. The room is a bit out dated, there's isn't much sunlight in the bathroom, and there's also no hot water. The floor was a bit sticky, some cleaning could do the trick and it had an old mouldy smell. The nice deck is nice to just sit and relax and watch the waves. The owner was great company, always chatting to us about the Island, and he also made the food, anything we requested during the day, he did it. The food was great! The bar was the spot to be at night, very alive for such a small place.
