Reviews of Vilanculos Archipelago Resort in Vilanculos Mozambique

We spent a few nights of our last two weeks here and it turned out to be the best place in Mozambique. The bungalows are perched on the sand dunes overlooking the sea, the staff was friendly and professional, the restaurant food was excellent and at a good price.

The managers at the resort went out of their way to make us feel at home. The bungalows are spacious and clean with two bedrooms and a loft area, the kitchen is also spacious and well equipped

The pool was dirty and green. Lodge floor was rotting and child got hurt. Also we were charged for kids under 6 years and the management were rude when we explained that we booked 3x6 sleeper chalets and had only four kids aged 3 to 6 years and they insisted on payment or we would not be able to leave lodge.

Also the cost of scuba diving was a total rip off even though we had all our own gear besides cylinders. Never again will I return.
