More than a decade of preparation working and playing in the dive industry, finally the effort started paying off when Rupert gave up the buzz of the city and moved to the slow and rural life of Ponta D’Ouro, where Back to Basics Adventures was born in 2010. Literally back to basics, life in Mozambique forces one to focus on that which is really important, leaving the glam and glitter of the city life far behind, finding the essence of life and sharing it with others.
