Situated 25 km from provincial capital Inhambane with International Airport and 480 km north of Mozambique capital Maputo. Access by road is a pleasant drive on tarred road except for the last 18km on a gravel road through coconut and
cashew nut groves, which is most of the year suitable for the passage of an ordinary vehicle.
