The Phaphalati Forest Chalets in Ponta Malongane are located about 27km north of Ponta do Ouro vilage close to the lovely Ponta Malogane beach.

As the name suggests the self catering chalets are set among the trees on a forested dune and is next door to the Hotel Phaphalati whose restaurant and bar you are welcome to use.

Forest Chalets offers a quieter option compared to the hustle and bustle of Ponta do Ouro centre.

Only accessible with a 4x4 vehicle.

The main bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other room has a single bunk bed, making it an ideal family unit.

The chalet also features one bathroom, a lounge and a fully fitted kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble-dryer.

The chalet leads out onto a wooden veranda with patio furniture and gas braai facilities.

The units are fully air-conditioned and positioned just 200 m from the sea.

Guests staying at Phaphalati Estate may make use of the facilities on offer at Hotel Phaphalati which is located within the estate. These include a swimming pool, restaurant and bar.
