Kaya Kweru Resort, in Ponta D’ouro is a place where you forget about daily life and just relax to the sound of the Indian Ocean. Kaya Kweru means “Our Home” or “The Home of Everybody” and this is exactly how we intend your stay to be.

6 double storey self catering apartments with sea views. Each self catering apartment is air-conditioned and can sleep up to 6 people in 2 bedrooms with a sleeper couch in the living room. Each apartment has 2 bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs).

Everybody is part of our family and we want to make sure you have an amazing time. We aim to satisfy by superceding all your expectations. Kaya Kweru is only 40 meter’s walk to the beach where you can spend the day swimming, snorkeling, fishing, surfing or just lazing in the sun.

There is plenty of parking spaces for vehicles, boats, jet skis and quad bikes with 24 -hour security. Pick-ups are available from the Kosi Bay border crossing on request if you do not have your own 4x4 min: 2 . At Kaya Kweru we want to make sure you have a fun and enjoyable time while visiting us.

Rooms/Chalet Accommodation

Comfort is our priority, therefore Kaya Kweru boasts an upmarket resort with 24 en-suite, air-conditioned apartments. 2 sleeper (double and twin) as well as 4 sleeper (2 bedrooms: double/twin) options are available.

All our apartments are extremely clean, tiled and the beds have linen and duvets. House keeping and fresh bath towels are supplied on a daily basis. Meals can be enjoyed in the restaurant. Kaya Kweru caters for the needs of the individual as well as for larger groups.

2 Sleeper Single / Twin Room: air-conditioned room with two single beds and an en-suite bathroom

2 Sleeper Double Room: air-conditioned room with a couble bed and an en-suite bathroom 4 Sleeper Room: 2 rooms with two single beds in each and a bathroom. Air-conditioned.

Family Room: 1 twin room (2 single beds) and 1 double room with an en-suite bathroom. Family room has air-conditioning and a private veranda.

Please note that rooms are provided on a dinner bed and breakfast basis and no fridges are allowed in the rooms.

Self Catering Apartments

Kaya Kweru now offers self catering accommodation. Upstairs each self catering apartment has 2 bedrooms upstairs with built in cupboards and air-conditioning, one bedroom has a queen bed and the second bedroom has two single beds.

There is a shared bathroom with shower. Downstairs the kitchen has gas stove, convectional microwave, fridge freezer , kitchen nook, fully equipped, lounge with 2 sleeper couches and another bathroom with shower. The whole of the downstairs is also airconditioned. There is a braai area outside.

Kaya Kweru Facilities

Our amenities include a swimming pool, braai area, lounge area and restaurant. We also have a sports bar with DSTV, so for those sports enthusiasts, you won’t need to worry about missing any games.

Check out the beautiful ocean view, watch the sunset or learn how to drum from our roof top patio. There are several restaurants, bars and shopping within walking distance, including the local market.
