The Vilanculos Coastal Wildlife Sanctuary is the world's first sanctuary embracing terrestrial and marine wildlife and is less than 2 hours travel from Johannesburg and just 1 hour travel from Maputo. This unique project is supported by the International Bank, Nature Conservation Corporations and worldwide dedicated nature lovers, with the objective to create the first eco-tourism destination of Mozambique where the number of hotels is kept at a predefined minimum to secure a sustainable environment and the preservation of this unspoiled utopia.

Nyati Beach Lodge offers you exclusively decorated and contemporary designed, wooden furnished lodgings of the original charming Mozambican architecture. There are two types of lodge accommodation; our one-bedroom beach chalets and our two bed-room executive beach villas.

The one-bedroom chalets of Nyati Beach Lodge, offer privacy and intimacy and are just steps away from sea and swimming pool. The chalets feature king-size double poster beds with mosquito nets, private sitting area, bathroom with dual vanities, separate tub as well as in- and out-door showers. Every lodge chalet has a private terrace specially designed to provide a stunning view over the estuary. Here you can take pleasure in sun bathing on this year-round sunshine coast of Mozambique or simply enjoy the cool sea breeze.

The Beach Villas of Nyati Beach Lodge offer you a two-bedroom luxury family suite, large enough to serve every family member's need for personal space in a light, tropical sea-side atmosphere. Each bedroom is exclusively furnished with a king-size double poster bed with mosquito net, wooden furniture and private bathrooms featuring dual vanities, separate tub as well as in- and out-door showers. A large lounge connects the two bedrooms and a large private terrace with pool and direct access to the beach offers stunning views of the Inhambane Estuary Lagoon.
