set amongst tropical coconut palms and sheltered by indigenous bush,
offering guest's barracas, camping sites and self-catering bungalows.
Ablutions offering clean toilet and shower facilities. Generated
power at specified times.

The camp is situated within a comfortable stroll to the squeaky clean
beaches.

Easy walkways meandering down to the beach. Two clean ablution blocks
close by for the campers. The 2 sleeper chalets are fully equipped with
crockery cutlery etc for 4 plus fridge/freezer and two plate gas cooker.
All linen supplied (2 sets) Double bed, table and chairs, mosquito net,
undercover patio. An extra single bed can be arranged if required at a
fee.
The 4 sleeper chalets are fully equipped with double bed. And two singles
which double up as a lounge area in the day, but open plan. Shower, basin
and toilet gas geyser undercover patio, with patio furniture. 2 sets of
linen and towels are available, mosquito nets.
Two plate gas cooker, fridge freezer, Kitchen equipped with cutlery and
crockery etc. Chalets are self-catering and not serviced, but staff can
be arranged for cleaning.

FOR THE KEEN DIVER
Make Sylvia Shoal Lodge your home while exploring the secret world of
fascinating vibrant corals and other marine life on Sylvia Shoal Reef,
which is well known as one of the world's finest diving spots. Your opportunity
to see Mozambique's gentle giants - whale sharks and manta rays. Sylvia
Shoal is approximately 14 km long with an average depth of 10m. Truly
an amazing reef which has hardly been explored.
FOR THE KEEN FISHERMAN
Ski-boat fishing, saltwater fly-fishing, rock and surf fishing, sea kayak
fishing. Some of the species to catch; Spanish mackerel (couta), Kingfish,
Sailfish, Tuna, Bonito, Spotted Mackerel (Natal Snoek) Queen fish, Job
fish (kakop), all major game fish species have been caught in the area.
Bait - natural fresh baits available from local markets.
SCUBA AND SNORKELING
The warm tropical waters surrounding the Lodge supports a stunning variety
of fish, corals, marine mammals and plants. Leatherback turtles are often
seen in waters close to the Lodge.
SAFE SWIMMING BEACHES
Warm tropical waters - safe beach swimming right in front of the lodge.
Relaxing beach walks. Visit Vilanculos or Inhambane, book a Dhow sailing
trip around the islands or just stroll around the markets and meet the
local folk, see what's on offer.
