The local communities living within the Bwabwata National Park are involved in the running of the facilities providing accommodation. Operated by the Mayuni Conservancy, the management and marketing of the Nambwa Campsite and Tented Lodge were handed to African Monarch Lodges to enhance the evolving experience of camping.
Previously located close to the Nambwa Tented Lodge, the campsite was recently moved deeper into the Bwabwata National Park to create a more exclusive and wild setting.
Accommodation at Nambwa Campsite
Four exclusive campsites are offered, each situated under a majestic indigenous tree, providing expansive views over the vast floodplains of the Kwando River.
