Reviews of Ngepi Camp in Caprivi Strip Namibia

We stayed in a tree house on the edge of the Okavango and the views were spectacular, we had an exceptional stay at this camp. The huts were built for summer and not ideal for winter stays, we stayed here during winter and at night the temperature dropped to below zero and the wind blew through the reed walls and we were freezing we had to put on an extra set of clothes just to feel better.
The showers were cold and when we brought this issue to light the issue was ignored, only after our guide took matters into his own hands was our situation resolved.

We arrived here at about 9pm without a booking because we were tired and needed somewhere to sleep, this camp is the first accommodation we saw. On arrival we found the host who went out of his way to find us accommodation, the place was fully booked but luckily there was one campsite available.
The restaurant and bar were closed but he went to the kitchen and defrosted some meat for us and we paid everything on check out the following morning. The camp is on the river bank with stunning open air bathrooms, the amazing swimming pool was caged inside the river.
