Reviews of Onguma Plains in Etosha Park Namibia

My husband & I stayed at The Fort in December. It was definitely one of the highlights of our Namibian trip. Spectacular setting looking over the great plains, especially seen from one of the little Fort look-out towers at sunset. We could see Etosha\'s salt pans through binoculars. The Fort is beautiful with a real Moroccan layout and feel to it, certainly a first for us. Lovely pool and deck area. Food was very nice and the host and staff very friendly. Would definitely return.

This place is an oasis of calm and good taste, the mixture of Indian and African décor is unbelievable. The hosts are very friendly and charming; the wine tasting is not to be missed. The food was excellent I ate a lot of new dishes; the safari drive was amazing so was our guide the walking wildlife and environment encyclopaedia

This is a great place to visit Etosha from; it’s a few kilometres from the entrance. The place has its own reserve which makes the sunset drives easier. The rooms were spacious and clean, the place has been built in the old forts style. The staff was friendly and very efficient our guide was good.
