Reviews of Sossus Dune Lodge in Sossusvlei Namibia

We had stayed only 2 nights, whereas 1 day was extended locally, during March this year. We were very happy having had the chance to experience your hospitality and also the lovely scenery. We are still looking at the many pictures we had taken from our visit in Namibia. We had especially enjoyed the evening tour to Sossus Vlei with Sammy. Many thanks again for all your support and kindness. Keep well. Maybe we´ll see us some time in the future.

Stunning location, definitely worth the long on not so great roads. This lodge gives you access to a dune drive at sunset - all lodges on the outer of the park cannot provide this as the national park only opens at sunrise. Very knowledgable and friendly guides. I learnt so much about the area and wildlife! Very well priced - great facilities and great rooms. Very friendly staff who look after you individually. Secluded and peaceful. Put it on your list with no second thought!

We arrived here late afternoon and spent a night here. There was no shuttle waiting so I had to walk to the lodge to ask them to collect my family and luggage. We had a great time despite the glitch at the beginning, the bungalows are lovely and with modern amenities. This place is close to the canyon so we spent our afternoons exploring it, the food was delicious and the service was fast. We got packed breakfast in the morning for our trip to the Sossusvlei.

We had an adventure of a life time; the lodge is situated at the bottom of a rocky crag. The staff was helpful and companionable, the food was delicious and the rooms were clean and neat. This place is conveniently positioned for mostly hikers and visits to the dunes. The fans in the rooms are small and have no effect on the heat; the dining area on the deck was amazing.
