Reviews of Tsondab Valley Scenic Reserve in Solitaire Namibia

We were there in October and loved it. Very private, unfortunately just missed the scenic flight. The location is great, very cool open-air showers and swimming pool. We were on one of the beautifully situated campsites overlooking the endless dunes. Thanks for the nice evening entertainment at the two builders of this camp. We felt very comfortable!!

This was our last stop on a 3 week vacation in Namibia, we spent 4 days in this scenic reserve. The five unique round bungalows have a possibility of spending the night on the roof. It was nice and warm at night and on the day despite heat of the day pleasantly cool.

Particularly noteworthy are the outdoor showers and outdoor toilet a very good idea. The hosts were really friendly and you get the feeling of being a part of the family. The evening 3-course menu was to die for and the lodge offered many activities. Highly recommended is the hike to the canyon or the private tour to the nearby house mountain. From there, you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and scenery.
