Great staff and game
drive |
Aus Game Lodge was the first place I stayed on my
visit in Namibia. Impressive and friendly staff along with clean
rooms makes you feel right at home. The food was great, and catered
to my vegetarianism and hiking on the trails near the lodge was
enjoyable. I have to say the highpoint of my stay was the game drive.
We didn’t see nearly this many animals on the other game trip
we took. I was overjoyed to end the trip with a family of giraffes.
I cannot recommend this lodge enough.

Fantastic Stay |
We have stayed here a lot of times but I have never
done a review. Caring staff, full of fun and laughter. The lodge
gives off a peaceful atmosphere yet there is so much going on. It
is one of those places where you can either relax you days away
being thoroughly spoilt or spend hours spotting game on their fantastic
drives. It really is a beautiful place just to walk, sit and watch.
Cool and comfortable rooms set aside from the main building, each
with their own terraces. Outside and indoor dining is provided.
The pool is located a lovely green setting with plenty of shade
provided. Fabulous an unbelievable food choice considering how far
we are away from a major town. Truly a magical place that I hope
to return to again very soon!

Great afternoon lunch |
Me and a friend booked lunch and an afternoon drive.
The lunch was well prepared, and we had a lovely afternoon relaxing
on the terrace, while talking and soaking in the view. The owners
have a meercat they are taking care of who was a total cutie. The
game drive was totally worth it as we saw almost all there was to
see, including the nearly twenty giraffe. The lodge is an easy drive
from Windhoek, but feels a world away. We didn't stay overnight,
but from what we saw the rooms and other facilities looked nice
and clean.

Perfect |
We booked two nights at Auas Game Lodge because
it was close to the Windhoek airport. After our first day, we all
decided to just stay put as we were all enjoying ourselves so much.
On the game drive we had the pleasure of seeing many animals, including
a herd of giraffe. Rooms were adjoining and were cool and comfortable,
in a thatched building.
The food was delicious as was the oryx steak in particular. For
breakfast there was a wide variety to choose from, 3 choices at
lunch, and a set menu at dinner. Happy atmosphere and friendly staff
and management. |
