A Perfect Getaway For Nature

| Super fantastic place Your holiday starts the moment
you are at the gate ,The person manning the gate ,Mr.Abraham , If
my memory serves me right , will greet you with big broad smile
and a genuine happiness and guide you to the road to resort.the
staff at the reception,wellness center , bar and restaurant are
all without exception very very helpful and believe in service with
smile, believe me these are not those synthetic,cosmetic smiles
that we encounter in most urban star hotels, it is genuine expression
of happiness and contended souls.I have been here four times in
two years and every time it is same.lazing in the warm indoor pool
and enjoying the sunsets are my most favorite time past. |

Perfect place to relax |
| I recently made a trip to Namibia and stayed at
this magical place about 30km from Windhoek on a nature reserve
with panoramic views. Every area and building has amazing views,
from the chalets to even the restaurant. All the rooms have thatched
roofing but are as modern as can be when it comes to luxury. The
beds are so comfortable I just wanted to stay in them all day long!
En-suite is a sunken bath aswell as a private outside shower, both
with amazing views. The lodge wellness village has a great range
of beauty therapies / massage and various other treatments and is
reasonably priced. All food served was delicious and of a high standard
and the staff were as friendly as could possibly be.
As for all the activities available the sundown game drive was
most excellent with sightings of Giraffe, Zebra, and white Rhino
aswell as some others. While accommodation prices at GocheGanas
are not cheap it is definitely worth it in my opinion. It’s
the perfect place to just relax and spoil oneself at the end of
a perfect day in Africa.
I will most definitely want to stay here again.

Beautiful lodge |
| GocheGanas was the place I chose to spend my first
two nights of my African holiday. After 24 hours of travelling I
needed to relax and chill out and this place was perfect for that.
Splendid views everywhere and big clean rooms and chalets are superb.
Each day I spent about 3 hours on the spa treatments they were so
good. Overall, a very enjoyable start of my vacation.
GocheGanas is only 30km out of Windhuk so if you drive fro the
airport through Windhoek and then south it is about 90km. The driving
is easy though as the roads are smooth with no harsh gravel roads
to deal with along the way.

High quaility everything |
| Everything about this resort is quality - the location,
the accommodation, the spa and the food. Your stay here will be
lovely and I can assure you that you won’t be disappointed.
A word of advice though is that you should bring warm clothing
if you decide to visit during the winter months. Because the lodge
is about 1600m up in the mountains it gets instantly cold as soon
as the sun goes down.

Very high standard |
A very comfortable lodge with great spa facilities
situated on a 6000 hectares nature reserve about 30km south of Windhoek.
Being on a nature reserve the lodge has amazing views of the Auas
Mountains and there is a number of white rhino situated on the property
and was amazed at how close one could get to them. Among other things
to do at the lodge there are hiking trails and mountain bikes for
hire. Large private and clean rooms make for a relaxing time but
I believe the rooms could do with a bit of a revamp. All food served
if of a very high standard and the views at the restaurant are stunning
especially at sunset. While service at the bar and dining room is
good I didn’t find it fantastic. |
