Lovely setting, and relaxing! |
This was our first two nights stay on our arrival
to Namibia, and we were very warmly welcomed, and it was the perfect
place to relax! The owners were very helpful with local hints and
tips for our trip! And the food was amazing, our first try of the
local game! The rooms were clean and well laid out.
We liked it so much, we spent our last two nights here before our
flight after our 2.5 week drive/adventure. Would recommend!

Great place to stay close to
Windhoek |
We thought this was the ideal place to stay before
catching an early flight. It's clean, comfortable, has a great pool
and the owners are friendly. It's away from the City so is nice
and quiet and you probably will see a bit of wildlife- birds and
springbok. The room had a nice private patio with a bit of a view,
and the fan/a-c kept us cool. The dinner was good, (not the best
we had in Namibia, but definitely good) and the breakfast was excellent. |

Friendly hosts, food a little
dissapointing |
We stayed overnight and the rooms were comfortable
and clean. The dinner at N$R180pp was a bit of a dissapointment,
very small portions set menu with no choice, hardly the kind of
cuisine one would expect for that price. However, the table was
beautifully set with crisp white linen and the setting is beautiful
between the mountains. Breakfast was also a bit small (mini omlettes)
but otherwise recomendable. Friendly hosts with a personal touch. |

Here the holidays begin |
We were traveling as individual tourists in Namibia
and have pre-booked via the Internet a few accommodations. As is
this Lodge, which is run by German owners very familiar. The Lodge
is located just 11/2 hour from the airport, as well as outside,
situated north of Windhoek and is able to acclimatise perfectly,
as the first or last stop on a Namibarundreise. The bungalows are
in a spacious, well-kept garden and are decorated afrikanischschick.
Everything expected in an international hotel facility as is also
available. The reception by the German owner was very professional
and friendly, the landlord has not only very loving care of us guests,
but cooked still quite fantastic. Dealing with the guests and the
staff is warm and friendly. The owner gave good advice on trips
and interesting facts about the country and people and can arrange
tours. In the restaurant and on the terrace of the breakfast / dinner.
In the garden there is a pool with shaded areas available. |
