Achab Lodge is a private initiative dedicated to the conservation of various fauna and flora, including the mountain zebra (Burchell's), leopard, endemic bird species such as the Herero Chat, and distinctive trees like the Quiver and Moringa trees.
Located at the foot of the Gamgamichab Mountains, Achab Lodge is just 9.5 km south of Usakos on the D1914 road. It is situated 50 km from Spitskoppe and 25 km from Anib Ranch. Positioned 150 km from Swakopmund and 200 km from Windhoek, it offers an ideal retreat from everyday life.
Achab Lodge features luxury camping sites, scenic views, hiking trails, and various natural rock pools. The lodge is home to a variety of free-roaming game, including Hartmann’s zebra and leopard, as well as a rich diversity of bird species. The lodge is conveniently located on the D1914 (en route to Wustenquell).
