Ten exclusive camp sites are available for a privileged few to enjoy the simple pleasures of life at the Aus Campsite. Off-the-grid and away from the main road, you will find peace and solitude in this special campsite.
Klein Aus Vista Campsite Amenities
Giant camelthorn trees, some housing massive weaver nests, provide shade to campers. Ensure you do not set up your tent directly under the massive weaver nests. Take note that there are no power points, so please ensure you are self-sufficient regarding your power needs or arrange to charge your equipment at reception at the Desert Horse Inn.
Each of the ten camp sites are equipped with a tap, table with benches, a grill and windbreak. Hot-water showers and flush toilets are available in the ablution facilities and the rest is provided by Mother Nature. Hand-wash laundry facilities, including lines to dry your washing on, as well as manual dishwashing facilities are available. Water is heated by a gas geyser.
