The Brandberg Rest Camp is located in Uis, only 30 km from the foot of the iconic Brandberg mountain.
The town lies on the route between Etosha and Swakopmund, making it the ideal stopover when travelling from the coast to the Park or vice versa.
Brandberg is the highest mountain in Namibia and is famous for the thousands of rock paintings in this area, including the White Lady.
The name of the mountain means burning mountain which refers to the colour of the mountain in the late afternoon sun.
