Literally metres from the ocean, the Cape Cross Lodge presents a unique and restful stop for travellers along Namibia's Skeleton Coast.
Cape Cross Camping Accommodation
Each of the twenty-one campsites is equipped with its own light, with a switch and a double 220v plug and it's own trip switch. A wash basin with cold running water and a work surface serves as an alfresco kitchen. Each site has its own braai area.

There is a central ablution facility with showers, hot and cold running water, flush sanitation, hand basins and mirrors. Other facilities for campers include an entertainment room with full DSTV bouquet and a pool table.
Facilities at Cape Cross Camping
A separate bar is close to the site as well as a shop selling basic groceries and a limited supply of bait, hooks, line sinkers, sweets, ice-cream, fresh bread, toiletries, liquor, ice, wood, flashlights, medicines and more.
A limited quantity of fuel and diesel is kept on the premises for the camper's convenience. Freezing and fish cleaning facilities are also available. Lock-up facilities are available in the lodge for all safe-keeping of documents, cash, and other valuables. Campers are welcome to use the facilities at the lodge which include a Bar & A-la-Carte Restaurant as well as a visit to our "in-house" Museum.

What To Do at Cape Cross Camping
Cape Cross Lodge is the ideal stop over on your journey from Swakopmund to Terrace Bay, Opuwo, Palmwag and the Kunene Region. Spend a day or more to do some of the excursions offered in the area. Day visitors to the area, are welcome to enjoy our A la carte lunch or drop in for afternoon coffee and cake.
