For more Information, Visit the main lodge page: Eldorado Lodge
Less than 8 km from the Anderson Gate to the Etosha National Park, you'll find the beautiful campsites at Eldorado Lodge and Camping. This family run business provides not only a warm welcome, but also shaded campsites on green lawns and neatly clean ablution facilities.
Being so close to the entrance to Etosha, it is almost as if you are inside the park, but with more comfort and exclusivity to make your stay extra special. With views over the waterhole at the camp where lion and hyena frequently visit, you'll feel as close to nature and wildlife as you possibly can.
Eldorado Camping Accommodation
Eldorado Campsite has only 12 campsites available, which makes it an exclusive experience away from the crowds. The sites are equipped with electrical points and the shared ablution facilities have warm showers which are kept neat and clean.
In spite of the difficulty of keeping lawns green in this dry and arid region, the campsites have beautiful lawns. Shade is provided either by the beautiful, large trees, or by shade netting set up for your comfort. Lighting and barbeque facilities are provided.
Some of the campsites are large enough to accommodate up to 8 persons and some are smaller and more intimate for smaller groups of 4 persons per site. Except for the campsites, there are self-catering and bed & breakfast rooms available at the lodge.

What To Do at Eldorado Camping
The main reason for staying at Eldorado Camping is because of the close proximity to the Etosha National Park. Anderson Gate - the main entrance to the park - is less than 8km away.
Game drives can be undertaken into the park, but there is also a predator sanctuary on the property, which gives you direct access to the big cats.
Because this family run property is mainly a cattle and game farm, some predators have been captured while endangering the livestock. These animals are kept in camps with little human intervention, so that they can live as close to their natural habitat as possible.
The predators are well taken care of, with a veterinarian visiting them often to ensure they are healthy and taken care of. Guided tours are offered to see them and learn about these animals and their survival in the conflict between farmers and wildlife.
