This camp with its special character is set between large and shady Mopane trees and only 10 km outside Etosha National Park. Etosha Safari Camp offers competitively priced accommodation in beautiful and charming, down-to-earth chalets and a lush green campsite.

The camp is a short drive away from the Anderson Gate and main entrance to Etosha and within easy reach for daily excursions into the Park.

Bed and breakfast rates apply, and the meals are served at the restaurant where the entertainment areas are themed as a typical African shebeen, showcasing history in interesting artefacts from previous years.

This Place of Legends brings you the story and spirit of Africa in a fun and entertaining environment, where you can enjoy typically Namibian meals and relax at the swimming pool.

A total of 50 freestanding safari bungalows are set on a small hill on the premises. 37 of these are twin rooms, accommodating a maximum of 2 persons. 3 Triple chalets accommodate 3 persons in each and 10 of the chalets are set up for families of 4. These units have bunk beds which are suitable for 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 13.

En-suite bathrooms with showers, air-conditioning and mosquito nets enhance the comfort of your stay and additional features like a safe, hairdryer, umbrella and coffee/tea station in each chalet add to the spoils. Relax on the veranda of your room and enjoy the cool evening weather and birdsong at the start and end of each day.

37 chalets are furnished with 2 single beds to accommodate 2 persons each. The en-suite bathrooms with showers are built with simplicity and decorated creatively.

Etosha Safari Camp has 10 chalets configured specially for families of 4 persons, where 2 children under the age of 13 are accommodated on bunk beds which are custom built above the double beds. Enough space is provided for a comfortable night's rest for all. The en-suite bathrooms have hot water showers.

Etosha Safari Camp has campsites nestled beneath the cool shade of Mopane trees and surrounded by lush green lawns. Each site is equipped with multiple power outlets, barbecue facilities, and shared restroom facilities. Breakfast is not included.

The restaurant and entertainment area have a character of its own and three meals per day can be enjoyed at the contemporary but rustic restaurant. A swimming pool and lush garden compliments the facilities and adds to the enjoyment of visitors.

An old train compartment has been converted into a dining area and guests have a choice of dining in the old train or around the fireplaces or outside in the courtyard where you'll be entertained by local musicians.

The main attraction of a stay in this area is Etosha National Park. Because Etosha Safari Camp is only 10 km away from the main entrance to the park, daily self-drive day trips can be undertaken into the park. Or you can join a guided excursion, presented by professional guides. Half-day and full day guided excursion options are available.

Another option is to rent the Etosha Safari Mobil for a self-drive and unguided excursion into Etosha, from the comfort of this specially adapted vehicle providing unparalleled game viewing. A driver can be booked to join you at an additional cost.

Guided walks are presented on the property to teach you more about the indigenous birds, plants and wildlife.

Live music is presented at the restaurant, bar and entertainment area and the collection of local artists, tourists and visitors often make for a night of fun around the campfire.
