This uniquely built lodge with its Moroccan, African and Indian theme, is located on the Onguma Game Reserve, which spans 34 000 hectares, adjacent to the Etosha National Park.
Being on the eastern side of the Park, it is close to the Von Lindequist Gate.
The striking architecture of the Fort with its towers, affording breathtaking views over the surrounding landscape and incredible sunsets over Fischer's Pan, is something exceptionally intriguing.
Because Onguma Fort is unfenced, no children under 7 years are allowed.
Onguma Plains: The Fort Accommodation
The Sultan's Suite is located in the main tower building of the Fort at Onguma. Being on the first floor, it has beautiful views over Fischer's Pan and Etosha.
There are 11 Bush Suites and a Honeymoon Suite, situated adjacent to the Main Fort, extending on both sides of the building

Bush Suite
The eleven Bush Suites accommodate 2 persons on twin beds in each. All the suites overlook Fisher's Pan in Etosha and are spaced far enough from the next suite to ensure privacy.
The spacious bathroom of each unit has an indoor as well as an outdoor shower.
Air-conditioning and a fireplace ensures comfort all through the year with the change of the seasons.
Every area of the room leads you to the viewing deck and outdoor seating area. A minibar and tea/coffee making facilities are available at each suite.

Sultan's Suite
The beautifully designed Sultan's Suite at Onguma Fort is a 2-sleeper unit with a king-sized bed, situated on the first floor of the Main Tower of the main complex.
The lounge area leads to a private balcony that provides beautiful views over the waterhole and Fischer's Pan.
The lounge has a satellite TV, bar fridge and telephone and an air-conditioner will keep you cool, while fireplaces in each room provide warmth and a cosy atmosphere on cold winter evenings.
The beautiful and large bathroom has an open shower area and a bath to relax in.
