Set on a secluded peninsula on the rim of the breathtaking wonder of the Etosha Pan, Onkoshi is a small, elevated camp with only 15 chalets and 30 beds, far away from the busier tourist routes and portraying the essence of exclusivity.

Onkoshi Etosha National Park

As one of the newest developments in Etosha National Park, Onkoshi is an eco-friendly facility, with a light footprint on the surrounding pans and plains. Built on stilts and running on solar power, the human impact of these wooden structures with canvas walls and thatched roofs, are limited and considerate towards the environment.

Elevated walkways bring you from the main lodge area to your chalet but take note that the camp is not fenced, and wild animals can be encountered along the way. During the rainy season, thousands of exotic birds flock to the pan to breed and this phenomenon can be experienced by guests staying at Onkoshi.
