The Canyon Lodge is situated close to the spectacular Fish River Canyon, making it a central base from which the second largest canyon in the world and surrounding desert landscape can be explored.
It provides a refreshing break in the journey to and from the wide variety of attractions of the Namib Desert, including Luderitz, Kolmanskop and Sossusvlei.
Located about 20 km to the east of the Canyon, the Canyon Lodge is also a preferred stopover for hikers doing the gruelling Fish River Hiking trail.

The chalets at Canyon Lodge are built from natural stone, sourced in the area.
The stone walls and floors in combination with the thatched roofs keep the rooms cool during the hot summer months.
The lodge is set between massive granite boulders and the chalets were built in the natural spaces between the rocks, embracing it beautifully in the design and architecture of each room. For this reason, the rooms vary in size and layout.
