Rooisand Desert Ranch offers two types of rooms, namely a Comfort Room and a Standard Room. One Mountain Chalet and two different types of Camping facilities, Namely Rooisand Cabins and regular camping. All rooms are en-suite with tea and coffee facilities.

Comfort Room
There are 5 Comfort rooms available at Rooisand Desert Ranch. The Comfort rooms are located close to the main house and main lodge amenities and hold a beautiful view of the gardens and dramatic Namibian landscape.
For our travellers with children, four of these rooms can be converted into family rooms upon request so you can keep your beloved children close to you.
The Comfort rooms are all en-suite, Towels and certain bathroom amenities
are provided as well as insect repellent.

Standard Room
The standard room features two single beds with en-suite bathroom facilities. The room is breakfast included but other meals may be booked upon request.

Mountain Chalet
The Mountain Chalet is a private fully equipped and comfortably furnished house with two double rooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. It can accommodate a maximum of 4 self-caterers and requires a minimum of two nights stay in order to be booked. Additional meals to be enjoyed at the ranch require pre-booking.
The Mountain Chalet is situated approximately 2.5 kilometres away from
the ranch on a hill with breathtakingly spectacular views. Guests will
require a vehicle with greater ground clearance in order to reach the
Chalet such as a Range rover or other similar SUVs.

Roosand Cabins
The Rooisand Cabins is a premium camping option introduced due to the ever-increasing popularity of self-drive campers travelling in groups, which results in them travelling with more than one vehicle. 10 two-bunk Cabins are available and may be occupied at random.
The Cabins share the ablution facilities as well as the kitchen facilities, such as the storage and gas stove, as well as the dining and seating area. The Cabins all have access to electricity and firewood is included and provided.

Camping
Five generous regular Camping options are also available at Rooisand Desert ranch. Each campsite has an electrical plug point, a fireplace and a wash basin.
The ablution facilities are shared as well as other camping amenities. Electricity is guaranteed and firewood is included and provided. There is also a slatted roof built for some shade.

If you want some good activity or simply wish to rest after your journey, Rooisand provides a large variety of amenities, free of charge.
Please note that the lodge amenities such as the swimming pool and
tennis court are reserved for room guests only and not available to
campers. Campers may take part in activities and meals but pre-booking
is strongly advised.

What To Do at Rooisand Desert Ranch
Rooisand offers a fantastic variety of facilities to all guests at their ranch. Usually a minimum of two guests is required for each activity but special requests for singles will be considered.
Unlike the lodge amenities such as the pool and tennis court, Campers are welcome to participate in the various activities provided by the ranch.
