Windhoek, the capital of Namibia, is located more or less in the centre of the country and is surrounded by breathtaking mountains.

Okambara Elephant Lodge Gobabis

Towards the east, the scenery gradually changes into the red dunes of the Kalahari.

On the southern side of the main route towards Gobabis, the Okambara Mountains rise from the plains.

In the centre of these mountains, you'll find the Okambara Elephant Lodge, which is about one and a half-hour's drive from the centre of Windhoek.

The family-run facilities had been developed in the style of a typical old castle or fort and have 4 beautiful towers.
