Africat Programme (previously Afri-Leo)
AfriCat North (previously Afri-Leo)- is a registered, Namibian-based, non-profit organisation, dedicated to the conservation and protection of the wild lion in Namibia (Panthera leo).
The programme includes a short visit to the Environmental Education Centre, where our guests are introduced to the works of the AFRI-LEO FOUNDATION: insight into the farmer-predator conflict issues along the boundary of the Etosha National Park, the research and monitoring programmes and an over-view of the Lion Sanctuary - Leo Namibia , where rescued lions, now have their home.
This MORNING activity is approximately 2 to 3 hrs in length, including lion viewing from the safety of a hide, and returning to the Lodge for a late breakfast.
