Bungalows
Mazambala has 16 bungalows including three family units. All bungalows have private bathrooms with hot and cold running water. The bungalows are constructed the traditional way with bricks, reeds and thatched roofs. All are equipped with mosquito nets and ceiling fans, and are regularly sprayed with an odourless insecticide against mosquitoes.

Camping
Mazambala also has its own attractive camp site on the banks of the Kwando River. The campsite is located a 15 minute boat ride from the main lodge. There are seven large campsites and two ablution blocks with toilets and hot and cold running water for showers.

Mazambala Island Lodge Amenities
The main lodge consists of a thatched lounge/bar/restaurant on 2.5 meter high stilts with stunning views over the flood plain.
Enjoy excellent meals and ice cold drinks while watching grazing antelope.
In addition a fifteen meter long swimming pool adds to the enjoyment of a stay at Mazambala.
