Mile 4 is a suburb of Swakopmund, located just outside the main town. This historical town has been a holiday destination for local as well as international travellers since its establishment in the early 1900's. The German colonial architecture of the buildings are still a witness to the background and history of this beautiful town and the German culture is still prevalent in some of the numerous restaurants and hotels in town.
The NAPWU Boathouse provides accommodation in a modern, newly built facility, only 80 metres from the beach, affording unlimited views over the Atlantic Ocean. Being the perfect base from which the activities and attractions of the Namib and Atlantic can be explored, guests are welcomed with spontaneous hospitality, comfort and luxury.
