Okahirongo Elephant Lodge is situated in Kaokoland, often described as one of the last truly wild areas in the northwest of Namibia, featuring beautiful mountain landscapes and rugged tranquillity.
The lodge, located in the Purros Conservancy, is a malaria-free destination and can be reached by 4x4 vehicles or a two-hour and fifteen-minute flight from Windhoek.
We share our place with both the Himba and Herero people. The cottages are decorated in a rich and sensuous fusion of ochre, honey, and sand colours, each with its own unique style and atmosphere.
