C’est si Bon boasts an atmospheric Namibian-style restaurant in Otjiwarongo, northern Namibia. The menu is à la carte with daily specials, and our wine list includes South African wines. Our food is popular with the locals and well-known throughout Namibia.
Portions are big, and we are renowned for our well-prepared game dishes, particularly oryx and kudu. We also cater for vegetarians. If you prefer a more casual meal, enjoy it outside in our beautiful garden with an aviary under our lapa.
Popular Attractions in and around Otjiwarongo
Otjiwarongo is an attractive, neatly kept town that enjoys all the modern amenities of supermarkets, banks, hotels, and restaurants. The area also offers various popular attractions.
Visit the Otjiwarongo Crocodile Farm, a well-liked spot for locals and tourists. Meet, photograph, and learn more about these remarkable reptiles, and browse around the gift shop. Namibia has the largest remaining population of free-ranging cheetahs, approximately 2,500, in the world.
The Cheetah Conservation Fund, which is specifically dedicated to the survival of cheetahs, has established an information centre 44 km outside of Otjiwarongo. The spectacular Waterberg Plateau rises about 200 m above the surrounding landscape. It is a game and nature protection area and a habitat to Namibia's only breeding colony of Cape vultures. It is situated about 50 km east of Otjiwarongo. Guided tours are available. Day visitors should make prior arrangements for their expected visit to the camp.
In Otjiwarongo, in front of the station, you can visit the old steam engine No. 41, built in 1912 by the Henschel company in Kassel, Germany.
