Namibia is a massive country and travelling from Windhoek - the capital city, which is located in the centre of the country - to any of the outlying regions frequented by visitors, can take a long time. Otjiwarongo is a large business centre more or less halfway between Windhoek and the Etosha National Park. It is also the gateway to the northern part of Namibia.
Frans Indongo Lodge is located just less than 50 km north of Otjiwarongo, on the main road to Otavi. It is an ideal stopover for travellers on their way to Etosha, the Caprivi in the north-east or the Kaokoland in the north-west of the country, but Frans Indongo offers much more than just a comfortable stopover. A variety of day trips can be taken to remarkable attractions in the surrounding area.
