Campsites
There are two different campsites available:
- Campsite 1 – Up to 12 pax.
- Campsite 2 – Up to 18 pax.
Both campsites are large enough to accommodate multiple vehicles and groups of people. Each site features its own en-suite toilet, shower, and basin, as well as an outside basin, extra tap, and built-in table. Sharing with another group is not feasible due to these amenities.
Wood is supplied for the hot water "donkeys," but guests can purchase firewood at N$15 per bundle.
Campers can use the lodge facilities such as the bar and swimming pool. Meals (dinner, lunch, or breakfast) at the lodge are available, but are subject to restaurant space and lodge guest activities. Reservations must be made in advance or with reception upon check-in.
For a true Namibian experience, please note that there is no electricity available at the campsites and lapa.
Campsite 1
Campsite 1 is situated under a very large Marula tree and has space for up to three vehicles or 12 people. This is about the maximum capacity for Site 1, in terms of both space and ablution facilities.
Campsite 2
Campsite 2 is located under a large Marula tree and a Red Ivory tree. It has a much larger open space with other trees around it, accommodating 4-5 vehicles and about 18 people. It also features an extra shower.
Shared Camping Site
The shared camping site accommodates multiple groups simultaneously. Facilities at the lodge, including the swimming pool, are available to campsite guests. Meals can be requested.
The campsite is equipped with:
- 1 shower (water is heated via a "donkey" – a wood-fired boiler)
- 1 flush toilet
- 2 sinks for cleaning cutlery
- 220V electricity
Lapa
For a unique experience, the thatched building of the lapa offers an elevated room protected with mosquito gauze, a wooden deck, and a separate lower area with three fixed cement beds. It also includes a small kitchenette, an outside shower, toilet, and BBQ facility.
