Damaraland is an iconic and mountainous wilderness-region in the arid north-central part of Namibia and has been inhabited by the Khoisan or Bushmen-people thousands of years ago.

Now the home of the Damaras, this area is well known for its geological, archaeological and historical wonders.

In this semi-desert where riverbeds are wide and sandy and not often filled with water, the Aba Huab Camp provides the ideal setting for experiencing the extraordinary environment where desert-adapted wildlife roam in search of food and water.
