Situated in the heart of Damaraland, the camp is close to a wide range of attractions, including the astounding gallery of ancient Rock Art at Twyfelfontein, the Petrified Forest and Organ Pipes.
Khorixas, the main town in Damaraland, is just under 100 km from Mowani.
Mowani Mountain Camp Accommodation
A variety of rooms with views, a mini suite and the ultimate luxury of the secluded Mountain Suite are offered at Mowani.
The rounded thatched roofs blend into the surrounding landscape, making it one with the land. The partly canvas walls can be fully opened to the front to enjoy the views from all angles.
All the rooms have en-suite bathrooms and private viewing decks. All linen and towels are provided. Tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and an in room safe comes standard in all the rooms and suites.

The walls of the room are partly canvas and the thatched roof ensures a cool environment. The air-conditioned room is furnished with a king size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with hot water shower.
Stacking doors open up to a private deck and private splash pool, affording views over the valley below.
Private dining can be enjoyed on the deck or in the room and this room is accessible to those with limited mobility, as it is close to the main lodge area.
