We are on a one of the more beautiful tree-lined streets in our neighbourhood. We've been around for 13 years, and we're do our best to make it your home away from home. We're about value, style and comfort. Kinda like a boutique hotel on an budget traveler's traveler budget. Set in a 100-year-old Victorian townhouse, the guest house offer attractive rooms for between 1 and 3 guests, which are decorated with an appealing mixture of antique and contemporary furnishings. The rooms come with either private or shared bathrooms, and all have a TV and Wi-Fi.

Studio Apartment

This mini apartment (40m²), which looks out at the garden (no access to garden), has a private ground floor entrance. This room is set up as an apartment, with the living room/bedroom, a bathroom and an eat-in kitchen (fully equipped with a small table with chairs, fridge and stove).

Amenities include a phone (with voicemail), wireless internet, ceiling fan, air-conditioning (in the summer), hair-dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a queen-sized bed and a twin bed in the room. Maximum 3 people.

From LaGuardia Airport

Take the M60 bus to Lenox (Sixth) Avenue and 125th Street. From there it is a five minute walk to the bed and breakfast.

Cost: $2.25 in coins or metrocard. Time: 30 minutes on the bus. Extra for waiting and walking.

From John F. Kennedy (JFK) Airport

From Jamaica: take the E train to 42nd Street. Walk underground for a block and a half to the 2 or 3 line. Take the uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. Exit on Lenox Avenue, walk four blocks to 120th Street.

Cost: $2.25 Time: Door-to-door = approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

From Newark Liberty International Airport

Option 1: Take the Olympia bus to the Port Authority bus terminal at 42nd Street and Eighth Avenue (about 30 - 45 minutes depending on traffic). Then walk along 42nd Street from Eighth Avenue to Seventh Avenue (Times Square). Take the Uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. From there it is about a five minute walk to bed and breakfast.

Cost of bus: $15, Cost of subway: $2.25, or you could catch a cab from midtown (42nd Street): about $15.

Option 2: Take the AirTrain/NJ transit to New York Penn Station (about 35 minutes). Transfer to the Uptown 2 or 3 train to 116th Street. From there it is about a five minute walk to bed and breakfast.

Cost of train: $15, Cost of subway: $2.25

Option 3: Take any cab, which can cost from $50 - $70 (plus tolls $11). Be careful with this option, as the cab drivers from New Jersey may not know the City that well and your fare may get even higher. Very expensive option.

Option 4: Set up a pick-up by Carmel Limo Cost $43 - $50 (depending on time of day), tolls ($11) and tip not included.

From Port Authority Bus Terminal

Walk one block to 42nd Street and Broadway/7th Avenue. Take the 2 or 3 (Uptown) train to 116th Street. From there walk approximately 5 minutes to bed and breakfast.

From downtown by subway

Take the 2 or 3 (Uptown) train to 116th Street. Walk up Lenox Avenue, turn right on West 120th Street. Make sure you do not take the 1 or 9 train.
