Reviews of PJ Inn Hotel in Angeles City Philippines

We had a early flight the next morning so we decided it would be best to stay close by, we chose to stay at the PJ Inn Hotel. Huge mistake. There was no power when we arrived. The hotel looks very old, and there are no elevators in the hotel even thought there are four floors. The pictures of the hotel are a total misconception. The hotel uses a generator but it only helps to activate the lights, so you cannot use the air conditioning or fans. The rooms were very dank and dirty, the mattress looked tattered and old and the sheets were filthy. The hotels owner was absolutely rude and unhelpful when we asked how long the power would be out. The owner didn't care and told us to contact the electric company. The one owner offered us an executive suite as an upgrade and of course we excepted. When we followed up on the offer at reception the girl there told us her boss was busy eating dinner. What service. We eventually cut our losses and decided to leave. We moved to a chain hotel around the corner, they offered electricity and air conditioning. The PJ Inn Hotel didn’t refund us our money, we couldn’t be bothered we just wanted to get out of that place.

The hotel rooms have no windows. There are howls in the blankets from somebody lying in bed with a cigarette. The hotel is close to the airport that’s the only upside to this place. The food is good. The area is a bit dodgy and expensive, but it was okay for an overnight stay.
