Reviews of Sunset Garden Hotel in Angeles City Philippines

I paid for transport and they didn't arrive. We had to pay 300 pesos to get a lift to the hotel. There are no street lights so entering the hotel at night is a bit scary. The guard at the gate had a machine gun, which eased my mind. The room was an absolute travesty, the room smelled musty and rotten and there were ants everywhere. The hotels location is a bit of a headache when it comes to sleeping, all you hear are the cars driving up and down the highway. I didn’t stay a second night. I booked out as soon as the sun rised. This hotel is one of the cheapest IV stayed in around Angeles. If you are looking for a western standard room then this hotel can't accommodate you. The rooms are lovely and clean, the air conditioning is amazing. We had no problem with noise as many reviews have said, the hotel was quite peaceful. I have stayed here with my wife and son few times and enjoyed it.

This hotel deserves a 4 Star rating. The staff and pool are amazing, and the service is just fabulous. The food is really good but a bit expensive. There are a number of other options when looking for good food, the hotel has restaurants basically around the corner the poolside can be very romantic. The rooms are very safe and spacious. There are safety boxes in each room.

The area is a bit dark at night, but if you have a torch handy it can be a nice experience. I loved the location because it is quieter than most around Angeles. If you stay here choose a room that is far away from the main road. The rooms could use a bit of renewing. I had no problems while staying here. There are trike transport services at the door..

I have stayed here twice and I think ill be returning for a third time. This hotel is very welcoming and the staff all made me feel like I was coming home. The rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant and bar are very good, they offer western and Filipino cuisine. The food is really great. The swimming pool is very clean and lovely to take a dip in. The gym is quite small but always ready to use. Each room has it's own safety deposit box. I don't think you will find any better for the same price.

There isn't realy anything bad to say about this hotel, other then the hotel looks a bit old. The hotel rooms are very clean and they provide a safety box in every room. The hotel has a nice pool. The TV has up to 70 channels available and a DVD player. The staff are a delight.
