Very Affordable Place
|
We stayed at Bananaland Cottages for two nights
during Chinese New Year. The price was excellent for that week.
The three of us fit comfortably in the Duplex with a double and
single bed. It also had a nice deck with a hammock and some chairs
for sitting in the evening. The surroundings are good for finding
hidden creatures and the hosts are very nice. It was quiet, but
only a three or four minute walk to the beach. The only downside
were the bathrooms. Although we had an air conditioned room, the
bathroom had an open window through which mosquitoes could enter.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. |

Clean, Decent And Safe |
It is not beachfront but we were able to use the
facilities on the beacfront resort across from these cottages. The
cottage overall was unique and had an interesting architecture and
there was no TV or air conditioner on the cottage we stayed at.
The bathroom was tolerable and decent enough. Overall clean, decent
and safe. |

Our Family Vacation |
The place was perfect for our family of 3 adults
and 3 teenagers. There were 3 double beds and 1 single bed. The
cottage was mostly made up of native materials, so it was cool inside
even without air condition.
Part of the cottage was a spacious verandah overlooking the lush
greenery. The two hammocks on the verandah enhanced the tropical
ambiance and was just ideal for lounging and reading. The best feature
of the cottage was the kitchen, well equipped with refrigerator,
stove, cooking and eating utensils.
