Reviews of Bougainvilla Hotel in Boracay Philippines

After booking a room online and paying in advise we decided to book an airport pick up as well. We were never picked up, we waited just over an house and nobody came to get us. When we called the hotel the phone just kept ringing and nobody helped us. we had to hail a taxi and spend extra money for nothing!. When we arrived we showed them our voucher and they said our room was taken. We demanded to see the manger, when he finally arrived he looked at our voucher and said the room was unfortunately taken. We were outraged, they gave us an alternative room which was worth less then what I paid!

The room wasn’t clean and comfortable. The bathroom was small and cramped and the housekeeping staff were very rude. After two nights in the alternative room, we were moved to our original room we paid for. The room was not cleaned, the sheets were stained. The floors were full of spilled wine. We asked that they clean it, and the housekeeping gave us attitude about it.

The manager is very rude and dishonest, he had our booking all along and still gave our room to somebody else. The pool at the hotel was dirty and not maintained. My advise to everybody reading this is stay elsewhere! You will be waiting you’re money and time, its not worth the effort! Stay away from here!
