Reviews of Acacia Hotel in Manila Philippines

The room was well-designed, comfortable and the staff was helpful. Their location is also very good, as the hotel is within walking distance to a shopping complex. Their toiletries such as shower gel and lotion were nice. Their towels were fluffy and soft, but they did not have robes. Their breakfast buffet has a large array of hot viands, fruits, and pastries.The rooms were not well-sound proofed, our room was facing the pool, and there seemed to be children on our floor and on the floor above. We could hear them running around or crying at all hours of the day and night.

I have the Acacia Circle membership, great service and courteous staff. We enjoyed our dinner with family and close friends at their Samanea garden. We gave my sister a suprise baby shower and had some games at the garden. My mom really enjoyed the buffet breakfast.

The hotel has great and efficient service offered by the hotel staff. The lobby has nice ambience, but the evening live music is quite loud. The internet connection is very good and the breakfast, not much of a choice if you are a muslim. My room was on the third floor, facing the pool. The hotel is a walking distance to Festival Mall. There is a free shuttle to malls and surrounding office buildings.

My stay was a pleasant one, the staff is very accommodating and very flexible. The room service was excellent, they will make sure that the room is tidy and well kept while you are away. They also leave some goodies after cleaning and tidying up your room. The breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel is very convenient.

My daughter booked an overnight stay for both of us. The following morning we proceeded to Acacia for the breakfast buffet. From the elevator we came across a foreigner couple who also proceeded to the coffee shop for the breakfast. As we entered my daughter signed in as so were the couple. Some minutes later as we were eating I overheard the staff talking to the couple telling them that they cannot eat at the buffet for reason that I did not completely heard. The lady foreigner said it to the companion guy and they left the buffet. I felt so bad and embarrassed for the couple. They were already there and about to eat and were told to leave. I can see that the staff tried her best to explain the situation. But I think we can best handle it by letting the couple eat since they are already there and spare them from embarassment. You can still let them know of the situation but should let them eat and not ask to leave. That is so embarrassing and so awkward feeling! I suggest that since the guest still checked in and signed a sheet by your staff why not make a list of guests the night before who are entitled to your breakfast buffet. That way you can already look up on the list as the guest sign and prevent future embarrassing situation for both parties. Overall I am giving a 4 star for cleanliness and comfort of the beds.
