Not Our First Choice |
It was not exactly our first choice but since we were on a tight budget we
decided to stay at this hotel. Although we were not that disappointed,
still we felt we could have stayed at a better place for the same
amount. The place is already showing signs of old age. The bathroom
and the room needs to be renovated. The only saving grace was the
friendliness of the staff. |

Very Noisy Air Condition |
The hotel looks old and the rooms are small. The
staff are good and very polite. The air condition was very noisy.

Very Ignorant Manager |
The room was not as nice as the pictures shown on the website. The linen were
soiled and the beds were small single beds. The TV cable line was
broken and would have to fix it in order to watch TV. The breakfast
buffet is for local Filipino's only. The chicken pieces we orderd
for my four year old son were bloody and uncooked when we told the
manager we were ignored. |

Breathtaking View Of
The Ocean |
The place has not changed, although it is a small hotel and the staff are friendly
and helpful. The ocean view is breathtaking. There is a nice restaurant
on the main floor and a coffee shop. To the left of the building
are restaurants, a pharmacy, laundry, and a convenience store and
another outdoor restaurant. I admit the hotel needs an update and
I am hoping it will be soon. The price is affordable, the shower
is hot, the air condition worked well. For a two day stay I was
satisfied with this hotel and I will be back to stay. |

In Need Of Refurbishing |
Good location, right around the corner from the Aristocrat
Restaurant and Malate Church, right on Roxas about 15 minutes from
the airport. The hotel is smallish, competent, reasonable and clean.
The toilets ran all night, the beds were urine stained and had a
funky smell, the room reeked of cigarette smoke and the Chinese
restaurant was absurdly expensive for Manila. Because of past visits
I had every reason in the world to like the Aloha but the hotel
is past its prime, everything is rundown and in need of refurbishing.
